WHO ARE WE ?

Sandy worked in advertising in Australia and London prior to becoming an on-air television director in Melbourne in 1979. She is a certified health practitioner, qualified in Bowen, Kinesiology, Polarity Therapy, Holistic Pulsing, Hopi Ear Candling, Indian Head Massage, Reiki, Past Life Regression Therapy, and Flower Essence Counselling. In 1981 she wrote and conducted a nutrition correspondence course for pharmacy assistants around Australia. Sandy is also an astrologer and a writer. Her first book, "Travel Guide to Tasmania" (Penguin) was published in 1984, while her articles on health and metaphysical subjects have been published nationally.
She wrote 2 chapters for the best-selling metaphysical book "With A Little Help From My Friends" by Dawn Hill, and is featured in the relationship "bible" "I'll Have What She's Having" by Valerie Parv. Sandy has been teaching creative writing, healing techniques and astrology since 1990.

Barry has 7 non-fiction books published (for adults & children) and his feature articles have appeared in national magazines and newspapers. He began working in magazine publishing after 16 years in advertising, and in 1971 joined Angus & Robertson Publishers as an editor. In 1987 he began teaching creative writing, and in 1989 joined an adult education center teaching in the Diploma of Professional Writing & Editing.
Barry's interests include Australian literary history, Celtic lore, and magic. He has also studied right brain creativity stimulation techniques in the U.S. He is an inspirational teacher and lecturer who enjoys motivating creative people. Many of his students have won writing competitions and/or achieved publication.
